Now I'm of consenting age to be forgetting you in a cabaret

College finished on Thursday and to be perfectly honest, I wanted to go out with a BANG. Stuff my usual jeans/skirt and tee/shirt combo. I was going to wear a dress. Heck, I was going to wear the SPARKLIEST dress I could find. AND A MASK AND THE HIGHEST HEELS IN MY COLLECTION. I even straightened my hair for the day! Now that is commitment to a cause. Here was my (only ever so slightly unconventional) get up:

Okay, okay, you got me! APRIL FOOLS. Surprisingly enough, I didn't wear this combo on my last day at school, I wore it to my best friends masquerade party last night.

Mask: JustPoshMasks dot com (my boyfriend wore the male counterpart mask)
Bracelets: Pandora
Lipstick: Illamasqua Drench


It only seemed right to wear Illamasqua lipstick to a masquerade party!


Its incredibly empowering wearing a mask. Although everyone obviously recognised me still, I had so much more confidence! (No, the added confidence wasn't due to alcohol consumption, although it may have helped a tad).
