So, after all the catastrophes surrounding a certain company and a dress, Topshop came up trumps with this dress in the concessions part of its Oxford Street store. Much cheaper than I expected at just £49 pounds meant I could afford it until Little Mistress refund me! Brilliant. All my accessories I already had in my collection meaning it was easy to put this look together, cheaply. I'd like to thank everyone who offered advice, shops, tailors and kind words vis a vis my dress drama, I'm lucky to have such supportive friends in you all.
The Leavers Ball was held at a hotel, with the stunning backdrop of the downs and the sunset. There was tables to sit outside and a buffet, bar and of course the dance floor inside. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the night.

I thought I would also include some images of me and my boyfriend at our year 11 prom, and then our Leavers Ball. We haven't changed much, have we? In fact, I wore purple to both events.
The whole night was a success, the food was good, the setting was absolutely stunning and the company was great. As ever with alcohol fulled events there was drama, high heel pain and crazy dancing but all of that just adds to the memories. The only downside to my night was the price of the alcohol at the bar. My best friend handed over a ten pound note for her double Malibu and pineapple and received £1.40 change. Yes, really!
Have you had your prom/ball/graduation? Did you enjoy it?
(P.s. I would like to mention I will be on holiday from June 30th till Sunday the 8th July. I may have a few scheduled posts, but tweets, replies and emails will be sorted out when I get home!)
